Android is Fun!

I've been using Android since it was made possible to use it  here in the Philippines. After the Nokia craze and my initial love for Windows platform in my earlier smart phones,  I was able to take hold of the early gadgets using the Android platform. Since then, and until now my love affair with the platform continue to flourish.

Frankly, nagkaroon ako ng oportunidad na makagamit ng iOS o Apple gadgets but for some simple reason di ito naging click sa akin. Siguro, para sa akin ang mas magandang gadget ay yung smart at practical.

We're four in our home, my wife and two kids all have their own iPads,  with my wife and daughter using iPhones too. There was a time when my wife wanted me to buy and exchange my Samsung phone for an iPhone. I don't know, but using her phone did not make me so attracted with the iOS platform. It looks to me that it's too simple to use, not that I wanted something that's complicated, but I always wanted a gadget that I can customize according to my preferences - which I found in Android phones.

Well, masasabi ng iba na mas maganda naman at pwede naman na i-customize ang Apple. Di ko alam eh. Siguro pwede nga, pero mahal pa rin. Judging from my point of view, you will really see the big difference.

Before Christmas last year, my wife upgraded from iPhone 5S to iPhone 7. Well, they just look the same to me. Oh sorry, they just look the same physically, and yes, there's big  difference in their performance and most probably in their internals.

Syempre, di ako papatalo...Last year I was using Xiaomi Mi3, and I've used it for more than 3 years. Ano brand 'ka mo? Hahaha! If you're reading this and you don't know the phone brand I just mentioned,  I understand. The phone brand is not yet that familiar in our country.

Ako nga, nakita ko lang at nabili ko lang ito sa Lazada, eh. You won't find them on big and reputable offline stores, actually. Pero ngayon, available na yata sila sa mga small gadget stores. But the thing is,  the first time they were made available in our country was 3 years ago pa. And they were introduce thru Lazada. Naks, ang ganda! The user interface is so simple and yet, very customizable sya.

Siguro, if I hadn't needed a dual SIM phone, 'di ko man lang ibebenta yung Mi3 ko na yun. Xiaomi's UI is so simple and yet very powerful. Kaya nga, when I bought a dual SIM phone, again I chose Xiaomi over the others. In particular I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The phone was great! It was smart, beautiful, practical and most of all, value for money!

Feeling ko, I bought a very advanced phone with just a third of the price of iPhone 7 and Samsung's flagship phone. I'm the type of person na mahilig magkalikot ng phone at mag-try ng different apps -  palibhasa, madami dyan libre,

So,  okay, I won't say a lot. With this first blog, I invite you, Pinoys who love androids to discover android more with me.

In my next blog, you will not be disappointed...if you really love android,  tara! let's discover new things that will maximize your use of your phone.

See you in my next blog. :)
